The Budgie Store is mixing, pouring, labelling and sending cocktails every business day. The Budgie Store aims to send orders within 3 business days following order confirmation. Shipping and delivery times vary on order location and delivery method selection. If you enter a preferred date on your delivery instructions the packing team will make an educated decision on when is best to ship it out to meet your request. However, no delivery date/time is guaranteed.

There is no minimum order on our online store.

Shipping starts at a flat rate of $14.95 for AusPost – Parcel Post, $19.95 for AusPost Express, and $24.95 for DHL Express for orders under 5kg. We also offer local delivery $14.95 for those within 15kms of 3134 and there is international delivery available starting at a rate of $29.95. If you need your order today & you live in Victoria, you’re more the welcome to pick up from Ringwood VIC 3134. We offer e-gift cards for any of those super last minute gifts if you need one. Otherwise, if you're really stuck, shoot us an email and we'll try to work something out.

Shipping little, heavy yet fragile bottled cocktails is quite the challenge. We want to get your cocktails to you as soon as possible and as safe as possible. Everything will arrive double boxed with enough surrounding packaging to give your order the best chance to arrive in one piece. We also use the best services from our courier partners possible. All of our cocktails are made to order and some contain only the freshest ingredients – so the sooner they get to you the better they'll taste!

For AusPost Express: 2-6 business days
For DHL Express: 1-5 business days

There are just estimates though as we aren't always aware of any delays in services from our shipping parnters. If time is a factor, always go Express!

Deliveries are handled by our third party delivery partners, AusPost and DHL, with tracking provided for each order. For more rural/remote suburbs, we've found that couriers may only make the rounds every few days. We recommend you contact them directly via the tracking details in your shipping confirmation to get a real time update on your delivery.

As the cocktails are a consumable products, they can only be returned if broken or incorrect. Return for store credit may be possible for non-consumable products – subject to circumstance. Please contact us at: orders@thebudgiesmuggler.com to discuss details regarding returns.

If your order is already on its way and has left our warehouse, unfortunately, there isn't much more we can do. We recommend contacting the courier service customer service line directly with the tracking number you would have been provided. Unfortunately, due to the cocktails being a consumable product, we can't offer refunds on late orders.

Our cocktails have varying shelf-lifes, generally from 1 to 3 months. The ones you receive will have a 'Best Before' guide on the rear label. We always recommend you consume your drinks within a week of you receiving your order to ensure the best possible taste. The Budgie prides themselves on quality cocktails, drinks and products and hence recommend consuming products as soon as possible to fully experience the deliciousness The Budgie offers.

We highly recommend refrigeration of cocktails. Quality and longevity of cocktails improve greatly with refrigeration. We recommend when consuming to have the cocktails as cold as possible.

We recommend consumption immediately after opening the product – or, we suggest enjoying it within a day or 2 at the latest.

All our cocktails have recommended mixing method and glassware pairings on the back and we've added some serving suggestions on our site. Many of our cocktails are designed to be shaken with ice however we understand not everyone has access to a cocktails shaker. Feel free to explore options with shaking the cocktail (protein shakers work great) otherwise we recommend serving as cold as possible and serving over ice.
